As the Brisbane City Council elections are to be held in March, the TPA has invited the candidates for the Brisbane Ward (which includes Teneriffe) to attend our meeting on Wednesday 17th. We have received acceptances from LNP, Labor and The Greens.
The meeting will have four agenda items; please be prepared to contribute to the meeting in the following ways.
1. In advance of the meeting, if you have a question relating to Teneriffe that you would like to pose to one, or all, of the electoral candidates, email your question(s) to firstname.lastname@example.org Please submit your questions as soon as possible as it will be a busy meeting and there may not be sufficient time to ask all the questions. (Due to time constraints, only questions submitted prior to the meeting will be asked.)
2. 2016 Annual Membership subscriptions are due to be paid at the meeting. The fees are $20 for individuals; $50 for families and businesses. Please bring your dues to the meeting because Item 4 is open to members only.
3. Confirming arrangements for the “Clean Up (Teneriffe) Australia Day" participation.
4. TPA 2016 AGM. Nominations and voting of all official positions, including membership of the Executive, will take place at the meeting. Nominations to all positions and voting for the official positions will be open to paid up members only.
It promises to be a full and interesting meeting, so please submit your questions, bring your membership subscription money, and get involved. Teneriffe is our suburb; our community.
I look forward to seeing you there.
