Fertiliser and Compost available

Submitted by Ben Pritchard on Mon, 29/10/2018 - 3:27pm

I have a Bokashi bin at home which has produced almost a litre of high potency liquid fertiliser. I can only use a small portion of the fertiliser so if anyone would like a jar of liquid fertiliser for their plants and/or lawn, please get in touch. I would be happy to see it used for its proper purpose.
I also have several litres of composting kitchen waste (which produced the Bokashi liquid) which I am also very happy to give away to anyone who wants to use it in their garden, or plant pots. Again, just get in touch with me, please.

August 2018 meeting agenda

Submitted by Ben Pritchard on Thu, 09/08/2018 - 10:54am

Members and guests,
Please find attached the agenda for the meeting of TPA on Wednesday 15 August. We have a couple of special items on the agenda - relating to Trash Free Teneriffe Day, and an exciting item regarding ideas for the future of the electricity transmission lines between Teneriffe and Bulimba. Come along to the meeting to learn more and to discuss these initiatives with your neighbours.
I hope to see lots of you on Wednesday. And yes, I know it is Ekka Day. The meeting will conclude before the fireworks begin, (at the Ekka, I mean).

Per Cent for Public Realm

Submitted by Ben Pritchard on Thu, 19/07/2018 - 4:19pm

The attached image is just to whet your appetites for the potential of what TPA would like to see occur for each of the woolstores in Teneriffe. It believes that attractive, eye-catching lighting adds a significant additional dimension to the attractiveness and interest of the suburb and its industrial legacy. Businesses, landlords and property owners would share directly in the increased attractiveness of the buildings and the suburb.
Would you like to see schemes like this introduced in Teneriffe? Let TPA know, please.
